This work needs more capable adults than any funding round can buy. Rather than list roles that change month to month, we would rather hear from you — what you can do, and how much time you genuinely have.
Training, at no cost
Full induction and ongoing development. You leave with genuine, transferable skills.
Police vetting, paid by us
Required under the Children's Act for any role working with young people. We arrange and fund it.
Funded supervision
Anyone in a facilitation role receives professional supervision. This work is demanding and nobody should carry it alone.
The right to step back
At any time, with no consequence and no explanation required. Stated as policy, not as a courtesy.
How to get involved
Email us: what you are good at, what you would like to help with, and how much time you honestly have — a few hours a month is useful, and so is a day a week.
We reply within three working days with an honest answer — where you would fit, what the commitment really is, or that we don’t have a match right now. That beats signing you up to something we can’t support.
Helpful to include
- What you can offer — skills, experience, or simply time and reliability
- How much time you realistically have, and for how long
- Where you are based, and whether you can help in person or remotely
- Whether you are open to Police vetting, if the work involves young people
Please do not include details about a specific incident or another person’s circumstances — this is not a secure or monitored channel.
